Services are the basis for everything: they appear on your profile, define the duration in the calendar and supply the prices at checkout.
You maintain them in Stylingcorner PRO under “Services”. The area is available on both plans — even on Free you can show your full offering with prices.
Create a service
What you need
- The owner or manager role
- Open “Services” and choose to add a service.
- Enter a name, up to 160 characters.
- Set the duration in minutes. Between 5 and 600 minutes is allowed.
- Enter the price in CHF.
- Assign the people who perform this service.
- Save.
The description is optional and may be up to 2000 characters long. Your own categories such as “Colour” or “Care” group your offering; you define the order yourself.
Buffers before and after a service
For each service you can store a buffer before and after it, 0 to 240 minutes each. The buffer blocks the calendar in addition to the actual duration; it is not visible to customers and is not charged.
With several services in a row, the buffer between two of them is skipped when the same person performs both back to back. This avoids artificial gaps.
Assigning staff
A service can only be performed by people assigned to it. This applies to online bookings and to appointments you enter yourself: the calendar refuses to assign a person who is not eligible.
The assignment replaces the previous list every time you save, so check it whenever you edit a service.
A person is only bookable once at least one service is assigned to them and working hours are on file.
Visible, bookable, or both
- Visible on the Marketplace
- The service appears with its price on your public profile. On by default.
- Bookable online
- Customers can book this service directly through your profile. Off by default and only possible with PRO.
- Active
- The service is offered inside Stylingcorner PRO. Setting it inactive removes it from selection and profile but keeps it in your appointment history.
On Free, “bookable online” has no effect: the setting is reset when you save. Your offering is visible, but appointments are arranged directly with the customer.
Changing prices and removing services
A changed price applies immediately to new appointments and new sales. Existing appointments and completed sales keep the price that applied when they were booked.
Services are not deleted but set to inactive. That keeps past calendars and reports correct.
Variants, surcharges and packages do not exist yet. Different prices, for example for short and long hair, are created as separate services. There is no “from CHF” field — the starting price on your profile is derived from your cheapest service that is bookable online. VAT rates cannot currently be stored for services.
