Stylingcorner PRO keeps two things apart: a person's calendar profile and their login. Once you know the difference, setting up your team takes a few minutes.
Team management is part of PRO. Only the owner can manage access.
Calendar profile and login
- Calendar profile (staff)
- Makes a person visible and bookable in the calendar. It has working hours, a colour, assigned services and a setting for whether the person appears on your public profile.
- Login (users & access)
- Lets a person sign in to Stylingcorner PRO. A login has a role and permissions.
The two can be linked, but do not have to be. A calendar profile without a login is the normal case: the person appears in the calendar and is bookable but does not work in the software. The other way round, a login can exist without a calendar profile, for example for reception.
A login with no calendar profile and without the “See all calendars” permission shows an empty calendar. Give reception that permission.
A person is bookable when their calendar profile is active, at least one service is assigned to them and working hours are on file. If any of that is missing, Stylingcorner PRO marks the profile as not bookable.
The three roles
- Owner
- Exactly one account per business, created during setup. Has every right, manages access, sees subscription and invoices, issues refunds and creates gift cards. This role cannot be changed, disabled or transferred.
- Manager
- Has all permissions by default, plus access to services, staff, products, the gift card overview and marketing. Cannot invite or edit logins.
- Employee
- By default sees their own calendar, can create customers, operate checkout and redeem gift cards.
The role is a ceiling. Permissions refine what happens inside it but never raise it. Services, staff, products and marketing therefore cannot be granted to an employee through permissions — that requires the manager role.
The nine permissions
- See all calendars
- Calendars and appointments of the whole team instead of only your own.
- Manage all appointments
- Create, move and change the status of anyone's appointments, including reassigning them to another person.
- See all customer data
- The full customer directory with contact details. Without it, only customers from your own appointments plus a reduced name search.
- Create customers
- Add new customer records, for example for walk-ins.
- Customer notes
- Read and write internal notes. There is no read-only variant.
- Operate checkout
- Open sales, add items, take payments and complete sales.
- Redeem gift cards
- Use a customer's vouchers and gift cards inside a sale.
- See team contacts
- Colleagues' email addresses and phone numbers.
- See revenue
- Open the revenue report and export it as CSV, always limited to the person's own locations.
When inviting, you either keep “use the role's defaults” or set permissions individually. With the defaults, later changes to the role defaults apply automatically.
Discounts and cancelling a sale stay with owner and managers, even with “operate checkout”. Refunds and issuing gift cards are reserved for the owner.
Invite a person
What you need
- The owner role
- The person's email address
- The PRO plan
- Open Settings, then “Users & access”.
- Choose to add a team member.
- Enter the email address and pick the role.
- Keep the role defaults for permissions or adjust them.
- Optionally link an existing calendar profile.
- Send the invitation.
The person receives an email with a personal link, sets their name and their own password there and is then signed in. You never set or see that password.
An invitation is valid for 7 days and can be used exactly once. You can send it again — which creates a new link and invalidates the old one — or withdraw it. There is a one minute wait between two sends, and ten sends per invitation in total.
If the person already has a Stylingcorner account with that address, they sign in with it and join under the same identity. A second account is never created.
Limit access to locations
If your business has several locations, you can limit a login to some of them. The person then only sees and edits appointments, sales and reports for those locations. The owner is never limited.
Withdraw access
- Disable access
- Access ends immediately. Appointments, sales, notes and the calendar profile stay untouched. Can be re-enabled at any time.
- End all sessions
- Every open sign-in becomes invalid, and the next login requires an email code again.
- Withdraw invitation
- For people who have not accepted yet.
A login is never deleted, so the history stays complete. Nobody — not even the owner — can edit or disable their own access. “End all sessions” applies to every business the person works for.
When a person leaves, also deactivate their calendar profile. That profile is not deleted either, because past appointments refer to it.
What is not possible yet
- Ownership cannot be transferred, and there is no second owner.
- Roles apply per business, not per location.
- A person cannot leave a business themselves.
- You do not re-invite someone who was disabled; you re-enable their existing access instead.
- There are no bulk invitations, no SMS invitations and no single sign-on.
- The invitation email exists in German, English, French and Italian; other languages receive the German version.
