Every salon on Stylingcorner is found through a single search page. There are no separate directories for treatments and salons: both routes lead to the same search.
You can search, browse and compare without an account. You only need one when you book.
Searching
- Type what you are looking for into the search field — a treatment, or a salon name.
- Add a place, for example a city or a canton.
- Start the search. Results appear as a list, with the map beside it.
Every setting ends up in the address bar. So you can bookmark a search or send it on, and it will look the same for the next person.
Salons without stored coordinates never appear in the results. Stylingcorner does not invent a position on the map.
Filtering and sorting
- Date
- A specific date, or straight to «Today», «Tomorrow» and «This week».
- Price
- A range from CHF 0 to CHF 250.
- Rating
- From 4, from 4.5, or exactly 5 stars.
- Distance
- 1, 3, 5 or 10 kilometres.
- Available today
- Only salons that still have a free slot today.
You can sort by rating, next free appointment, distance, and price ascending or descending. Rating is the default.
The map
A map sits next to the result list. Each salon is a dot; hover over it and it turns into a marker with the rating, plus a short preview.
- «Update search while moving» searches exactly the section of the map you are looking at.
- On a phone you switch between list and map at the top.
- If the search finds no coordinates at all, the map shows the whole of Switzerland.
The salon profile itself has no embedded map. There, «Show route» leads out to an external map service.
Categories
There are ten categories: hair and styling, barber and men's grooming, nails, brows and lashes, beauty and skincare, hair removal, make-up and permanent make-up, massage, spa and wellness, and tattoo and piercing.
Every salon has exactly one main category and up to four further ones. A salon shows up in a category as soon as one of them matches — main or secondary, it makes no difference.
There are no dedicated category pages yet. A category is always a filtered search.
What «Verified» means
The «Verified» badge on a salon means that Stylingcorner has checked the identity of the business and that the business holds a running PRO subscription.
- The business submitted evidence, such as a commercial register extract and the owner's identity document.
- Someone at Stylingcorner reviewed that evidence and approved it.
- The subscription is active. If it lapses, the badge disappears, even though the check was passed.
«Verified» says nothing about the quality of a treatment, only that the business genuinely exists. Do not confuse it with «Verified booking» on a review — that means the reviewer booked and attended the appointment through Stylingcorner.
