This page explains how reviews on Stylingcorner come about, which parts of them are publicly visible, and how we handle their content.
Who can leave a review
A review can only be submitted after a real, completed appointment booked through Stylingcorner. This eligibility is checked live against the actual appointment every time a review is attempted — it is not stored as a separate, permanent flag on the account.
Exactly one review is possible per appointment. After publishing, the reviewer can still edit their review for a limited period.
What is publicly visible
Publicly, the reviewer's name is shown only as their first name plus the initial of their surname (e.g. "Anna M.") — never the full name, email address, or phone number. No photo of the reviewer is shown publicly.
A beauty business may publish exactly one reply to a review; that reply is also publicly visible.
Moderation and internal visibility
Reviews are shown pseudonymously to the public, but not to Stylingcorner's own moderation team — for platform-integrity purposes, the team can trace a review back to the account that submitted it.
Stylingcorner may remove or moderate a review for cause; such an action is logged internally with a traceable audit record.
