Why does my business appear on Stylingcorner?

Version v2.0In force since 23 September 2026Last updated 23 September 2026

You found your beauty business on Stylingcorner even though you never registered? This page explains how such a listing is created, which details we store and show, what it means — and what it does not.

How a listing is created without registration

Stylingcorner can create a basic listing so customers can find a business before it joins. It is based on publicly available business information that we prepare as a structured dataset. An administrator uploads this dataset; the platform checks every row, imports it unpublished at first, and an administrator then publishes the listing.

The platform itself does not automatically retrieve third-party websites (no scraping and no crawler in the platform). The origin of an uploaded dataset is recorded at import but not technically verified by the platform; Stylingcorner is organisationally responsible for choosing lawful sources.

Which details are stored and which are shown

Stored, where contained in the dataset: business name and company name, business email address, business phone number, website, address (street, house number, postcode, town, canton), coordinates, categories (with an indication of whether imported or inferred), description and opening hours, plus a note on the origin. The original import record is also kept as evidence.

Shown publicly: name, address and map position, categories, description and opening hours. Not shown: email address, phone number and website. Images are not imported; without images, search shows the business's initials.

The imported business email address may be used during a claim to check whether the claimant belongs to the business (comparison of the email domain).

Stylingcorner does not currently send any emails to imported businesses.

What such a listing does NOT mean

An unclaimed listing does not mean that the business has joined Stylingcorner, works with Stylingcorner or uses PRO, nor that the details have been confirmed by the business or verified by us. Such a listing cannot be booked online; this is ruled out server-side.

On the profile page of such a listing, a notice that online booking is not available is shown instead of booking, together with an invitation to the business to claim the profile. In search results, an unclaimed listing is not currently marked as such; the card there only leads to the profile, not to booking.

What you can do

Claim: claiming requires a business account with Stylingcorner PRO. If the domain of your account email matches the listing's business email (no free-mail providers), the claim is confirmed automatically; otherwise you upload evidence (e.g. a commercial-register extract or ID) that our team checks manually. You start the claim directly on the listing's profile page; if you get stuck, contact legal@stylingcorner.ch.

If you cannot find your business, you can register it through the business sign-up.

Correction or removal: if you do not want to claim the listing, if it contains wrong details, or if you object to its publication, write to legal@stylingcorner.ch (when signed in, also via account settings, request type "Correct an unclaimed listing"). We review the request and take the listing offline. Correcting individual details and permanently deleting the stored data — including the original import record — are not currently implemented as functions and are done manually; until then the data remains stored after the listing is taken offline.
