Payments & Stripe

Version v2.0In force since 23 September 2026Last updated 23 September 2026

Stylingcorner uses Stripe for two payment processes that are entirely separate, both technically and financially. This page explains each one on its own so it is clear which data flows where, and who is responsible for which payment.

Two separate payment flows

A. The Stylingcorner PRO subscription: a beauty business pays for use of the PRO platform via Stripe Billing to IDS Business Live AG.

B. The salon customer payment: a customer pays for a booked service via Stripe Connect (Direct Charge) directly to the beauty business that provided the service.

These two flows are completely separate — neither the data nor the funds of one flow affects the other.

A. Stylingcorner PRO subscription (Stripe Billing)

Here, the beauty business is the paying customer and IDS Business Live AG is the recipient of the payment. Recurring billing and the payment method itself are managed entirely by Stripe Billing.

For display purposes in account management, Stylingcorner stores only the card brand, the last four digits, and the expiry date — never the full card number. This information is used solely for display (e.g. "Visa •••• 4242") and is never used to process payments ourselves.

The actual payment method is entered directly into Stripe's own hosted payment form; our servers never process or store full card data at any point.

B. Salon customer payment (Stripe Connect)

When a customer books a service through Stylingcorner and pays online, this happens via Stripe Connect in "Direct Charge" mode: the beauty business is the legal and financial recipient of that payment (the merchant of record) — not Stylingcorner.

TWINT is offered as one of several payment methods within Stripe, not through a separate TWINT provider.

Stylingcorner does not take a commission on this payment flow (no application_fee_amount) and never sees the customer's full card data at any point — that data is processed exclusively between Stripe and the connected business's account.

Technical safeguards

Every status message Stripe sends us via webhook is cryptographically verified for authenticity before we act on it. Messages we have already processed are recognized and never processed a second time.
